Opened last March 2019, Crema and Cream Cafe Bistro + Coffee Lab is a spacious, well-lit bistro in Tomas Morato Quezon City that doubles as a coffee workshop on the 2nd floor. It’s a great hangout to do some work, learn about coffee and meet friends!
The word “Crema” is Italian for “Coffee”, and “Cream” refers to “Milk”. Crema and Cream Bistro + Coffee Lab started off as a coffee shop concept that home-roasts its own beans, but then it expanded to a bistro. I tried the Flat White (PHP 150) and, let me tell you, I was up all night!
They also sell bags of single origin beans: Brazilian chocolate notes, African fruity or tea-like, and Colombian fruity coffee beans.
With Chef Sherman Cheung personally preparing our dishes at the Zomato foodie meet-up, we certainly had an awesome time trying out his innovative dishes. Some of my favorite Crema and Cream dishes were the Cafe Rib (coffee-glazed ribs) and the Steak & Fries (coffee-rubbed flank steak which was surprisingly tender for its cut)!
Must-Try Dishes at Cream and Cream Cafe
Earth Salad (PHP 355) – Seasonal greens with roastd vegetable, cherry tomatoes, and balsamic mushroom tossed in coffee-balsamic vinaigrette, topped with feta cheese, candied cashew, pickle medley and scotch egg.
Asian Chicken Salad (PHP 385) – Fried chicken cutlets with honey soy garlic glaze on mixed seasonal green tossed in creamy wasabi mayo dressing, topped with fried wonton, mango, toasted almonds, corn, red radish, pickled red onion, edamame, nori, bonito flakes and toasted sesame seeds.
Bromlette (PHP 255) – Protein-packed omelette with sous vide egg! Farmed mushroom, garlic, tomato, and fried potato omelette with cheese, topped with breakfast sausage, smoked ham and a 62-degree egg served with herb pesto bread.
Cuckoo Sandwich (PHP 295) – Fried chicken cutlet with spice dust, soy-honey drizzle, sriracha mayo, corn remoulade, kimchi slaw and fried egg on toasted croissant.
Cafe Sliders (PHP 355) – 3 spiced 2 oz. house made beef patties with caramelized onion jam, Swiss cheese, seasoned tomatoes, toasted brioche buns, served with shoestring fries.
Fish Parmegiana (PHP 345) – Herb parmesan-crusted seasonal fish on pasta tossed in smoked tomato cream sauce served with herb pesto bread. Subtly spicy.
Cafe Rib (PHP 395) – Twice-cooked American sparerib on creamy pumpkin puree, roasted seasonal vegetables, farmed mushroom vegetable ragout, and coffee barbecue sauce.
Steak & Fries (PHP 545) – Coffee-rubbed flank steak served over a bed of chimichurri with demi glace and shoestring fries.
