Our favorite Taiwanese Restaurant opens its 7th branch in Metro Manila this May 16, 2019! Fat Fook UP Town Centre is located outside on the second floor of UP Town’s Phase 1A near Fat Daddy’s. The first time I tried Fat Fook Kitchen was in Robinsons Galleria.
Fat Fook’s Bestsellers
Tina of @HungryTravelDuo and I tried some of Fat Fook Manila’s bestselling Taiwanese dishes.
A crowd pleaser, the Pork Xiao Long Bao is a juicy soup-filled dumpling with the essence of pork.
The savory and cruncy Chicken Chop is breaded, fried and sprinkled with seasoning. The chicken cubes are easy to snack on and would go really well with beer!
The Spicy Wanton was surprisingly good! I was biased against it at first, but then the flavors from the wanton and the sauce combined, I couldn’t help myself from taking another piece!
The Taiwan Sausage will always be a Fat Fook favorite. The sweet-savory sausage is packed with a lot of flavor like the Filipino longganisa…but better! The fried sausages are wedged with slivers of garlic to help accentuate the taste.
The String Beans with Minced Pork and the Sweet Sour Pork are timeless Chinese stir-fry staples.
Check out the Taiwanese Fried Rice! It’s got all sorts of stuff mixed in including the sweet taiwanese sausage and soy sauce!
For dessert, we were served the Shaved Ice Choco with Oreo and Milk Tea! I ordered the taro milk tea!
