Pepi Cubano‘s humble beginnings started back in 2006, when founder Susan G. Dalmacion was inspired to make cubanos in Manila. The home-based business was introduced to bazaars like Salcedo Market, and eventually grew to have its own establishment in Legaspi Village in 2015. In August 2017, Viva International Foods & Restaurants, Inc. partnered with the Dalmacion family to bring the sandwich shop to a wider market in the Philippines.
Pepi Cubano not only offers savory sandwiches like the new Pan de Adobo (PHP 170), but also sweet ones like Pan de Leche (PHP 120)–cheese cubano sprinkled with powdered sugar.
Aside from its sandwiches, Pepi Cubano also offers rice bowls or Arroz Cubanos, because we Filipinos love our rice! Try their new Arroz Con Bistec (PHP 195) and the Arroz Con Adobo (PHP 185)! The bistec’s thinly sliced sukiyaki-cut beef was well-marinated and juicy!
