On February 28, 2019, #TimHortonsTurnsTwo at The Marquee in BGC with the launch of their new March products to #MakeYourDayGood.
Mr. William Tieng, Chairman of Tim Horton’s Philippines and Mr. Rickie Yap, president and CEO of TH Philippines decided to bring the brand Tim Horton‘s in 2016 and opened the first branch in the Philippines on February 28, 2017 at the Uptown Mall, Bonifacio Global City in Taguig.
Currently, Timmies Philippines has more than 500 employees and 27 restaurant nationwide for Filipinos to have the taste of Canada’s favourite premium coffee – Double Double, freshly baked goods, delicious sandwiches & wraps, and other food products. Speaking of which, Tim Horton’s continues to draw in the crowd with their new March line up:
Tuna Melt – Artisan style grilled cheese with melted cheddar cheese with melted cheddar cheese, tomato, onion slices and tuna chunks
Fizz Coolers – Coolers flavoured with refreshing fruits, comes in three flavours: Strawberry Fizz, Green Pear & Apple Fizz, and Grape Fruit Lychee Fizz
Teajitos – Black Tea flavoured with fruits and mint comes in three flavors: Peach Garden Teajito, Passion Fruit Teajito, and Green Apple Teajito
Non-Coffee Ice Capp – Non-coffee frozen blended beverages comes in three flavours: Strawberry Shortcake, Caramel Hazelnut, and Cookies & Cream.
As a Canadian, I’m so proud that my favourite coffee shop has made it’s way to Philippine shores–and I’m sure a lot of expatriates feel the same way too! Lucky for the Filipinos, Tim Horton’s Philippines’ menu is a lot more innovative and fresh complete with legit baristas to serve you (unlike their Canadian counterpart). Overall, I think Tim Horton’s is a legitimate contender to industry giants Starbucks and Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf.
