Hydrated Inside and Out with Sip Purified Water, Cure and Kracie Japanese Skincare Products!

With my busy sched, I end up multi-tasking or super focusing on something to the point that I forget to drink water sometimes. It’s a known fact that drinking lots of water aids in detoxification, cell regeneration, metabolism and even attaining good skin. Drinking the right kind of water (purified vs. distilled vs. mineral)

However, hydrating inside is just as important as hydrating outside, especially in dry conditions. Beauty Box Corp. shares some innovative Japanese products that promote a waterful skincare.

Sip Purified Water: Volcanic-filtered Water

Sip Purified Water is sourced from Mt. Making and purified by nature. It is made up of rainwater, which flows down to an aquifer to undergo several layers of natural filtration, primarily by volcanic rock. It also goes through a sand filter, de-ionization and reverse osmosis.

Available in major supermarkets including Rustan’s, Sip Purified Water is sold for PHP 9/350mL bottle, PHP 11/0.5L bottle) and PHP 20/1L bottle.

DIY Water Mist: Water Mists might seem unnecessary, but it helps in prepping the skin. Tap water or hard water can include a lot of impurities. (White stains on dishes after using tap water are impurities. Hard water can cause sediment build up in machinery. Imagine using hard water on your face!) Fill an empty spray bottle with Sip Purified Water and you’ve got your very own homemade water mist!

DIY Rice Masks: Rice Paper can be bought in the supermarket for around ~PHP 100 per sheet. Since it’s round, you’ll need to cut it up into section to fit your face. Make green tea or rice tea by boiling Sip Purified Water. Place the cut-up rice sheet on a plate and pour the tea onto the makeshift mask. Let it steep for 2 mins. Voila! Apply the mask and leave it on for 15 minutes to achieve a glassy finish.

Alternatively, you can always get Hadabisei Face Masks which can be found in Beauty Box Corp. and Beauty Bar stores.

Creer Cleansing Water: Spa Water

A Japanese survey found that women in the Shimane Prefecture have the best skin in Japan, and it was attributed to the spa water. For this reason, Japanese brand Kracie (pronounced “krah-shay”) formulated Creer Cleansing Water with spa water.

The blue bottle uses spa water (no oil), which is ideal for light makeup users, while the orange bottle (with oil) is meant for heavy makeup users, especially effective against waterproof makeup. Each 330mL bottle is sold at PHP 545 at Beauty Box Corp.

The nice thing about Creer Cleansing Water is that it doesn’t require pressure or much friction to remove the makeup, especially for eyes. Applying to much pressure on the eyes can cause the blood vessels to burst! Yikes!

Creer Cleansing Water is a 4-in-1 product that cleanses, tones, refines and moisturizes. It can be used before or after facial wash. Remember, sleeping with ineffectively removed makeup is just as bad as sleeping with makeup on!

Cure Natural Aqua Gel

Exfoliation is important. It happens naturally but it slows down as you age. When people hear “exfoliate”, it makes them think of something harsh, rough or dry, but Cure’s Natural Aqua Gel is very gentle on the skin. It’s so popular in Japan that 1 bottle is sold every 7 seconds!

Cure Natural Aqua Gel can be used used after makeup removal to get rid of residual products stuck in the pores, especially stubborn makeup! It can also be used in any other part of the body like the feet, armpits, knees, butt, etc.!

Cure Water Treatment

Initially made for Cure employees whose hands have become dry from all the product packing, Cure Water Treatment was released into the market when the Japanese brand realized how good the product was.
