Nomi Matcha & Acai in BGC is now open! It’s a cute pastel pink and green cafe that specializes in matcha and acai desserts and drinks, of which are shipped directly from Japan and Brazil. Their line of matcha desserts are picture-perfect. Albeit, Nomi Matcha is more than just a cafe. Fitness Buff Michael Jiang (@mikejiang8), Asuka Hosokawa (@asukaaxx), and Take Hosomi (@thosomi) are the owners and managing partners that helped designed the menu with Chef Leo Lopez and Tasting Chef Emman Galdo to dish out Japanese comfort food.
Matcha Mix Platter (PHP 470) is a sample platter of their signature desserts, and the perfect way to get familiar with matcha if you’re new to it’s taste.
The Matcha Frosty (PHP 170) is a sweet, creamy ice-blended drink that comforts the soul.
The Iced Matcha Latte (PHP 160) is a milky ice-blended drink with a subtle matcha kick at the end.
The Iced Simply Matcha (PHP 120) is for the non-Typical Filipino purist who want none of the milk or sugar.
While Nomi Matcha & Acai is known for their matcha drinks and desserts, it also serves hot meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
The Gyudon (PHP 350) is made with thinly sliced braised beef in tare sauce and onions with steamed Japanese rice and sous vide egg. Perfect execution against Japanese standards!
The Chicken Power Bowl (PHP 290) is jam-packed with roasted chicken drizzled with pesto, soft-boiled egg, grilled tomato, roasted carrots, toasted cashew, and romaine pesto dressing.
The Chicken Yum Yum Karaage (PHP 190) is made with crispy Japanese fried chicken with cabbage, lemon, kewpie, and rock salt mixed with shichimi.
