Last Sunday, I was craving for ramen so I invited my family out to Ramen Nagi, which is only THE best ramen shop in Metro Manila. We went to the Robinsons Galleria branch because it was the closest to us.
To start off we ordered the Chicken Karaage (PHP 250), trying out all flavors: Classic, Japanese Curry and Spicy. So juicy and crunchy!
The unadventurous men got the Original Butao, but my mom and I tried the ramen of the month for March 2018: Tonkatsumen. Topped with tonkatsu, the cold noodles are thicker than usual, and come with a dipping sauce. One thing I love about Ramen Nagi is the elasticity of their noodles. Tsukemen isn’t for everyone; it took me a while to come to terms with it. Miguel likes cold food (especially cold pizza–such a Canadian), and he eventually helped me appreciate cold noodles.
My sister got my usual fave, the Black King (PHP 410). I missed it so much that I dipped by tsukemen into her bowl of black soup!
We don’t usually go out for dinner on Sundays, but since my grandmother enjoyed this dining experience, she proposed to do this every week now. 🙂
